Publishing your website
Where do I upload my files?
After connecting to your hosting account by FTP, you will see two important directories: httpdocs and httpsdocs.
httpdocs
Most of the time, your website files should go into this directory. Files placed here are available from the root of your domain.
http://www.yourdomain.com.au
httpsdocs
Files that need to be served securely can be placed in this directory and accessed using HTTPS.
https://www.yourdomain.com.au
Upload your home page at the directory root
Keep the main website entry file inside the appropriate web directory, rather than beside the directory.
